Emma Townsend Cakes opened in Rozelle last year and we are a high-end custom cake studio.

I'm looking for an experienced cake decorator to support me in growing my business.

Right now I'm looking for 2 days a week to support myself and my other cake decorator and up to 4 days per week depending on demand.

The lead up to Christmas will be busy!

 

About You

EXPERIENCE IS A MUST! You will need to share with me examples of your work

NO SPONSOR / NO VISA REQUESTS: This is casual position for an experienced cake decorator/baker who is Sydney based.

I’m now looking for help to grow this business with someone who is creative, great with customers and can get straight into the decorating jobs and baking. You will need proven experience. It doesn't have to be in a professional setting but you will need to send me examples of your work and you need to be a fast worker!

Day to day

·       Work hours 7am-1pm. Tuesday-Friday. (2 days at the start, casual)

·       School holidays and lead up to Christmas will be very busy periods

·       Baking cakes, cupcakes, cookies and other goods

·       Decorating cakes in fondant, buttercream and ganache

·       General cleaning duties

 

Qualifications & experience

• 2 years Baking and / or cake decorating skills, eg: working with fondant, figurines
• Customer service and communication skills
• Passion for food, baking and creative stuff
• Creative in cakes and even on socials when we post pics of our amazing work
