Kids' Cake Decorating Classes and Parties

Two and a half hours of decorating, and you do none of the cleaning up.

School holiday classes, Saturday 26 September to Monday 12 October. Running Tuesday to Saturday through the holidays. Get four together, cousins, school friends, the kids from your street, and it is $100 a child instead of $120. Tell us the day and Emma will find the spot.

A hands-on cake decorating class in our Rozelle studio, run by Emma and the team. The kids do the piping, the fondant and the decorating. We do the mess. The same session works as a birthday party any Saturday of the year.

What happens

Everyone gets an apron, a set of tools and a bench spot. We start with buttercream, move on to fondant shapes, and finish with each child boxing up six cupcakes of their own decorated masterpieces. No experience needed and nobody gets left behind.

• 2.5 hours, fully supervised
• All aprons, tools and ingredients
• Light refreshments and drinks
• Six cupcakes each, decorated by them, boxed to take home. No party bags needed.
